Around this time each year in Saitama, Chichibu Yomotsuri is held. It is a beautiful, vibrant night festival with parade floats and fireworks. Sources indicate that it will run again this year. I strongly recommend looking at the official Chichibu Yomatsuri website of the festival for updates and more detailed information on how to find it and what to do. But for people who can't go to Saitama this year, this will be of little comfort! So I decided to find the five best Youtube videos of the festival and post them here!
It seems that eating Japanese street food is very common at this festival. So if you can locate some food on skewers and watch the videos in the dark, you might feel as though you are there.

If you've been finding my blog posts entertaining or helpful, I hope you'll consider making a contribution of your choosing to my PayPal pool. I'm currently saving up so I can repay my student debt as quickly as possible, and unfortunately the adds in this blog aren't paying off. Forming these blog posts takes time, and while I take great pleasure in it, I still find I need to make a living. So, anything you could give would mean a lot to me. paypal.me/pools/c/89Ab7XEzQ9
