Amazing Virtual Sakura Tours!

I'm sorry to say it, but due to business I haven't been able to keep up with maintaining this blog too well for a while now. But I did find this fantastic resource on Google Earth when I was looking for free online resources for touring Japan online:

On Google Earth there is an album of many of the greatest places to see cherry blossoms in bloom throughout Japan! The white panel on the right side tells you about the location, and the arrows allow you to rotate through different beautiful locations. So you can tour them for free! And even consider whether or not you would want to tour them in person in the future.

If you would like more of a feeling of Japan being close to you, you could also subscribe with SakuraCo, a subscription box company that delivers delicious Japanese snacks and crockery to your door. They select the boxed items carefully from all over Japan, made by real traditional makers. So every box is more than just deliciousness; you get a cultural education about Japan, too. And right now you can enter a contest to win a free subscription!
